Leigh RFC - Famous for Layabouts
Leigh Rugby Football Club was founded in October 2003 playing its first game against Old Street RFC on 17th January 2004. Today, we play in Mid Kent & East Sussex Junior Leagues and continue to attract and retain players who enjoy a good level of social rugby each week. Leigh RFC is a club whose main priority is to have fun whenever we get together - be it for a game, training or a social event. We have experienced heavy defeats and big wins alike but whatever the result on the pitch it is all forgotten by the time we reach our newly adopted spiritual home being 'The Fleur De Lis' in Leigh.
